Safe Driving in the New Normal with Ford Philippines’ Driving Skills for Life

Ford Philippines is bringing its Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) program in Visayas and Mindanao this month as part of its commitment to create better and safer drivers on the road. With the theme “Safe Driving in the New Normal”, this year’s DSFL will cover timely topics including pandemic car care and maintenance tips, car sanitation and disinfection, and driving techniques during the rainy weather. These are in addition to the existing DSFL training module which covers basic vehicle dynamics and handling, driving in various conditions, anti-distracted driving, and fuel-efficient driving. This year’s DSFL sessions will be conducted virtually in order to foster a safe and physically-distant learning environment. Gazelle Motors features next gen jeepneys for Azenso Program

photo credits:  Gazelle Motors Philippines In relation to the government’s thrust to improve transportation in urban centers across the country —Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP), Gazelle Motors Corporation (the automative business of Eastern Petroleum Corporation) launched the Azenso Program with the transport sector in Davao City. With Azenso Program, transport drivers and operators will be given access to organization development and entrepreneurship capacity building seminars. This will help them manage better transport equipment with larger capacity as well as provide upgraded passenger experience in PUVs. The project is in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) plus government financial institutions Land Bank of the Philippines and the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).
