Jollibee’s Suprise Birthday Bash

A large number of Jollibee Kids Club (JKC) members together with their families and friends from all over the country welcomed Jollibee at his surprise birthday celebration last September 28. Thirty five (35) selected Jollibee branches nationwide took part in the celebration via simultaneous live streaming straight from the Philippine International Convention Center Forum in Manila. There were also exciting on-ground interaction, giving more JKC members the chance to join in the festivities. Jollibee Matina Town Square (MTS) branch was chosen to represent Davao City in the said event. A lively dance number from Jollibee himself highlighted the celebration. In Manila, Jollibee was joined by Yum, Hetty, Twirlie and Popo on stage and brought Jollitown to life in front of the excited JKC members. Well, I am not going to talk about motherhood in this post, but just the fact that while I was busy building a home and starting a family, I realized that this homegrown coffee shop has been a part of it as well. I was again lucky to be invited at the Krispy Kreme Media Event and VIP Socials yesterday afternoon at its soon to open branch in SM Davao Annex. It was such a memorable gathering as it unveiled the much sought-after doughnut store in the country that is getting ready to open in Davao with two branches at SM Annex and Abreeza Mall tomorrow, October 20. (The third Davao branch opening will be at SM Lanang Premier in November.) Being the first set of Krispy Kreme branches in Mindanao, everyone was filled with excitement as they set their eyes with glee on the curtains which finally went down to present the store to the media and other top executives in the city.
