NCCC 9th Dog Congress

Who let the dogs out? Hello Davao dog lovers and dog owners! NCCC Hardwaremaxx brings the 9th Dog Congress on October 7 Saturday, 1pm at the NCCC Mall Davao. “The 9th Dog Congress is now bigger and better. With the opening of our Maxx’s Pet Bowtique and Pawlor earlier this year, we have added specialized services so as to attract more dog lovers to join,” says Hardwaremaxx marketing officer-in-charge, Christopher Cua. The annual congress is open to all pet lovers and lots of exciting activities/freebies/instant prizes are in store for this half-day event such as loot box, anti-rabies vaccination, check-up, consultation, dog food sampling from GoodBoy, Pedigree, Vitality, and PetOne. AirAsia Foundation raises awareness on human trafficking

With the support of the United States Department of State, AirAsia Foundation has organized training sessions across AirAsia hubs in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia to raise awareness on human trafficking. Three officials from Airline Ambassadors International (AAI), led by its president Nancy Rivard, Andrea Hobart, AAI’s Director of Trafficking Awareness Program, and Donna Hubbard, Flight attendant with American Airlines and also a survivor of trafficking, were in Manila last August 14 to conduct training sessions to pilots, cabin crew, ground services team, airport immigration officers and security team. As a responsible airline, AirAsia is concerned about the situation in view of global statistics that 25% of trafficking victims originate from Asean. Human trafficking is a global security challenge which requires a global response the airline said. A Mom’s Day Out With Sun Life

Mothers, titas (aunties) and moms-to-be had a fantastic Saturday last week here in Davao City, thanks to Sun Life Financial Philippines. It was a day of self-care, pampering, and laughter at Park Inn by Radisson Davao which was attended by about a hundred participants. Who would say no to a relaxing back massage? I just loved it. And that’s not it, there were also lots of raffles and giveaways that made the event more fun and exciting. To top it all off, we were all able listen to inspiring talks on Balanced Motherhood and Money Management. Had so much learning and realization from them . Thank you Ms. Michelle Alignay for being a witty speaker. No dull moment as she shared her own experiences as a wife and mom which were so interestingly relatable.
