Whirlpool Philippines (EXATECH) launches new products

I got the chance to witness the unveiling of the latest addition to Whirlpool’s home appliances together with various dealers and partners from the Visayas and Mindanao region last week. The launch was held at Marco Polo Davao. The event was even made more exciting because it was hosted by the charming Ms. Donita Rose. We got first dibs at the three brand new appliance models as Whirlpool and Excellence Appliance Technologies, Inc. (Exatech) demonstrated all the unique features of these products. The first product to be featured was the capacious 30-liter MWP Vancouver microwave oven. The integrated handle and touch-screen design makes it easy to operate even for first-time users. NCCC x TraXion Ka Partner Program

NCCC and TraXion launch Ka Partner Program

New City Commercial Center (NCCC), a  leading supermarket chain in Davao City has recently teamed up with TraXion to boost the development of cooperatives in the Mindanao region. TraXion, a local blockchain company headed by its CEO Ann Cuisia is the technology provider for NCCC’s Ka Partner program which will give perks and trainings to cooperatives in managing their businesses. The said program will comprise of KoopKicks, KoopMart and Ka-Coop Card. Ka-Coop Card will provide benefits such as reduced cost of handling cash loans, online-real time credit line management, contribute data to their member’s credit score plus the ease of seamless, cashless shipping. The card is digitally equipped with QR code. With KoopKicks, NCCC supports an aspiring entrepreneur while KoopMart provides supplies and system to the cooperatives. NCCC CEO Lafayette Lim said this project aims to promote real community development by placing the cooperative sector in the frontline of technological advancement.

I am so stoked about the recent real estate development in my hometown, Davao City.  The newest township is soon to rise at the southern part of the city where I reside. YHEST Realty and Development Corporation, a joint venture between regional developer Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) and the Yuson, Huang and Tan families belonging to the Villa-Abrille clan of Davao, has started ground works on Phase 1 of the P33-billion Davao Global Township (DGT).
