Avida Towers Davao presents Life in Full Color

Avida Land marks its first entry in Davao City with an impressive depiction of life in full color as a celebration of the Davaoeno’s unique passion for life. For the launch of Avida Towers Davao’s Tower  2, the Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) subsidiary has formed a partnership with renowned poet-writer-artist Victor Secuya, who was commissioned to do a special artwork for Avida Towers Davao illustrating the theme “Life in Full Color”. A Review: The New BlackBerry Z10

It is quite exciting to know that while many are going gaga over the rising market competition between Android and IOS smartphone devices, BlackBerry has aimed not be left behind as they introduced The New BlackBerry Z10 in March earlier this year. I was privileged enough to test the unit for a couple of weeks, then create a review thereafter. I was extra thrilled because I knew that BB Z10 leads the  new generation of BlackBerry devices. For the longest time, I have been meaning to try using a BlackBerry phone. My hubby has one, but it gives me limited accessibility since it was issued by their company, and they apparently  blocked  (***sad face**) some Apps for work reasons. Passionalism: Showcasing The Davaoeño Barong Tagalog

From June 5-12, SM Lanang Premier put on display Davao-made Barongs by Architect Michael E. Dakudao in celebration of Philippine Barong Tagalog Week. Dubbed as Passionalism: An Exhibit of the Barong Davaoeño, the exhibit at the mall’s Atrium features Arch. Dakudao’s elegant collection of the Philippine national attire for men, the Barong Tagalog. It aims to rekindle the love for the Philippines and encourage appreciation for our very own national costume. LEGO Philippine Map Exhibit in SM Lanang Premier

SM Lanang Premier in Davao City  has launched the first and biggest ever LEGO Philippine-themed exhibit in Mindanao  on Monday, June 3, as part of its Independence Day celebrations.It will be open to the public for viewing until the 30th of June. In partnership with LEGO, the world’s leading maker of toy bricks, ands Toy Kingdom, SM Lanang Premier brought the LEGO Philippine map exhibit to promote love of country and national pride among Filipinos. The Big C is so dreaded, and it’s very apparent that no one wants to put himself to the ‘dead end’ and be diagnosed with it.  Everytime I see someone, either a relative, friend, acquaintance or even a stranger suffering with cancer, the thought about life being so short and that it can easily be taken away from us at a snap of a finger bothers me. My heart goes out to them who have suffered and died from this dreaded disease, but sometimes it leaves me helpless as well, knowing that at most times, cancers are incurable.
