These are some of the varied experiences that inspired the artist to create songs to capture the drama of human emotions. “Kanta-Kwento” is an album that verbalized the different sentiments, random thoughts, and feelings that could not be simply said in our casual face-to-face conversations with the people involved in our lives. “Kanta-Kwento” mirrors the humans being fully engaged with life. It is an artist’s subtle self-assurance that life goes on and one has to keep moving on, learning from the experiences and picking up the pieces to begin a new story. RisingStars Philippines, the country’s newest and biggest talent competition is going around the country to reach out to the entire nation in search for new rising stars. Auditions in Davao city are now ongoing at NCCC Mall and select schools and barangays. RisingStars Philippines and Kapatid Network TV5, in cooperation with Jumpstart Productions, have joined forces to launch a new singing and reality TV talent search that would embark on a nationwide search for the best-of-the-best singing talents all over the Philippines to represent their home city or province. Although it is commonly identified with latin dance steps such as samba, salsa, mambo and merengue, Zumba also has hiphop and martial arts movements in it making it really interesting. It is far from being boring and it makes you sweat, you wouldn’t even notice that an hour has passed. (one hour zumba group sessions is offered in most local gyms).
